INTEGRATED CONTROL OF ROOT ROT AND WILT DISEASE ON CATHARANTHUS ROSEUS USING BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL CONTROL

This study was conducted at the University of Baghdad, College Agricultural Engineering Sciences/Department Plant Protection for period 2021-2022, with aim isolating and diagnosing pathogens that cause root rot wilt disease on Catharanthus roseus in different areas conducting an integrated control pathogen using biological chemical control. The results isolation identification presence 4 types fungi accompanying plants: Fusarium oxysporum, F. solani, equiseti Rhizoctonia solani nurseries Baghdad regions, most frequent species were equiseta (FeL1), antagonism test showed commercial preparation Trichoderma harzianum had a high antagonistic ability against FeL1 PDA medium. also use Beltanol concentrations (50, 100, 500, 1000, 1500 2000) mg/L led to 100% inhibition growth concentrations, compared treatment without fungicide which rate 0.00%, concentration (50) did not have significant effect T. differences from rest used test, as well efficiency alone their interactions combating under conditions greenhouse nursery All treatments decrease severity infection pathogenic increase fresh dry weight vegetative total seedlings dwarf variety.
